The Singing Horse Trading Post is surrounded by the Prairie, the so called Great Plains, which naturally create a relaxing, friendly atmosphere where you can get a glimpse into life on the Pine Ridge Lakota Reservation while enjoying all the peace and quiet you could hope for. If you’re looking for lodging in the heart of an Indian Reservation near the Black Hills and the Badlands National Park, come stay where you can meet with locals, have a good night’s sleep and still have all the comfort of a bed & breakfast you could wish for.
Self-contained Cozy Cabin
There are two cozy cabins on the property, each have their own bathroom with a walk in shower. They also have a kitchenette equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, hot plate, toaster and a coffee maker. The Turquoise cabin is slightly larger and has one queen size bed and a couch that can be used as a guest bed. The Red Cabin has one queen size bed with the same amenities.
Linens and towels are provided.
Mobile Home
If you prefer a more private space our mobile home would be the best choice: the mobile home is located next to the main building. It consists of two small bedrooms with one set of bunk beds in each room, a larger room with a queen size bed and couch with a hide-away bed. The facility has a full bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped, and you can prepare your own meals at your own convenience. Linens are also provided.
Cabins
There are two "Cowboy Cabins" on the property. Each Cabin is designed in the western style and has two sets of bunk beds, but no bathroom. You will have to walk a short distance to the store to use the bathroom and shower. Linens are provided.
There are natural camping sites available. No bathrooms are provided. You will have to walk a short distance to the store to use the bathroom and shower.

Main House (Currently Unavailable)
Relax in your cozy guestroom in our main building that features a comfortable bed with linens provided and bath amenities. The bed & breakfast is on the second story of the main building. It consists of two bedrooms with one queen size bed in each room and a shared full bathroom. There are several breakfast options available.
Terms & Conditions
We require a down payment of one third of the total rental amount at time of reservation. This down payment is non-refundable if the reservation is cancelled. The balance is due 7 days prior to arrival date. No minimum stay.
A Family Friendly Place
The Singing Horse Trading Post welcomes families with children and offers an outdoor playground and many other activities for the little ones.
Healthy Food For A Healthy Lifestyle
We take advantage of the seasonal vegetables growing in our garden and use locally grown foods whenever possible. Being part of the ecotourism project in the area we follow the philosophy of providing healthy food to our guests, whenever possible. We do our best to accommodate our non-meat eating guests with plenty of vegetarian options, as well as the availability for guests to cook for themselves.
Much of our beef is free range, grass fed and sourced from local ranchers. Depending on the season we also have buffalo in the freezer harvested here on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and processed locally.
